3.0 Internet Evolution: from 1.0 to 3.0

before 2.0 or 3.0, we need not be quite ready to conclude that there was a web 1.0. This was known to static pages in html programmed were not updated frequently. The first change came with the success of the dotcom (sometimes called Web 1.5).

The term Web 2.0 was coined in 2004 at a conference by Tim O'Reilly, and is commonly associated with a social phenomenon based on the interaction that is obtained from various web applications that facilitate information sharing, user-centered design and collaboration between them on the network. Examples of Web 2.0 are social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tuenti ,...), blogs, Flickr, YouTube, Napster, BitTorrent, Google AdSense, Wikipedia or the possibility that the user participate in the formation of the web .

The Web 2.0 is the representation of the evolution of traditional applications to web applications targeted to the user. It is a stage that has defined new projects on the Internet and is concerned to provide best solutions for the end user. Many claim that has reinvented the Internet, others talk of bubbles and investment, but the reality is that the natural evolution of the medium really has proposed the most interesting things existed.

The same trend continuous Internet and makes it talk to other changes, the Web 3.0 . The term first appeared in 2006 in an article by Jeffrey Zeldman, and is used to promote the improvements to the Web 2.0 . There is currently a debate about what Web 3.0 means , and what would be your definition correct. The main innovations of Web 3.0 would include: development of databases, artificial intelligence, Semantic Web and, finally, the evolution to 3D .

The first step towards Web 3.0 is the birth of the Web Data , since the formats in which information is published on the internet are mixed. The recent growth of technology SPARQL allows a standardized language and a better interface for searching through databases network. Thus, the Web Data makes the data as accessible and linkable as Web pages. This is the first step towards the full Semantic Web, which will continue talking later. In this phase, the goal is to make structured data as accessible as possible for the user.

The Web 3.0 has also been used to describe the evolutionary path of the network that leads to artificial intelligence. Sceptics see it as an unattainable vision. However, large companies like IBM and Google are implementing new information technologies to reap surprising as the fact predictions of songs that will be a success, based on information from the websites of Music at the University . There is also debate about whether the driving force of Web 3.0 it will be the artificial intelligence and other systems of human intelligence through collaborative services like Delicious, Flickr and Digg, which draw the order of the network and how people interact with it. Time

now approach the concept of Semantic Web. Thanks to artificial intelligence, can we develop programs that can reason based on description logic and intelligent agents. Such applications can perform logical reasoning using rules that express logical relationships between concepts and data in the network . These changes also allow use on different devices or mobile devices accessible to people with disabilities, or with different languages \u200b\u200bwithout transforming the data. Thus, we will be faced with a semantic evolution in the network.

Finally, another possible path for Web 3.0 is the direction in 3D vision. This would involve transforming the Web into a series of 3D spaces, taking further the concept proposed by the virtual world Second Life . This could open new ways to connect and collaborate, using three-dimensional spaces.
